Job summary

Redwood Trust, Inc. is seeking a mortgage processing professional with strong data knowledge to support loan processing, purchases, and related functions.

You will interact with underwriting, lock desk, funding, and IT, providing detailed information to clients and ensuring compliance with policies and service levels. The role emphasizes data integrity, analytics, and collaboration across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage industry experience.
• 3+ years of processing experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage product data and processing workflows.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with loan originators, secondary marketing, underwriting, loan delivery, and IT.
• Convey requirements clearly to clients and manage changes as applicable.
• Escalate complex product/underwriting issues to the appropriate parties.
• Coordinate with Underwriting and Lock Desk to process underwriting and product exception requests.
• Coordinate with Appraisal and Due Diligence vendors to process appraisal review requests to meet SLAs.
• Ensure accurate and timely loan data and diagnose issues.
