Cornerstone Capital Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to drive profitability by directing sales and business development, leading a team, and recruiting top market talent. You will personally originate loans, manage referrals, and ensure timely closings while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a mortgage loan originator.
• Licensed by the applicable regulator in each state where loan applications are taken.
• FHA/VA & USDA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train top talent in the market.
• Provide motivation and support to achieve maximum production levels.
• Establish and control budget and income goals within company guidelines.
• Ensure goals and performance standards are met and communicated within the team.
• Monitor loan quality and ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory and company policy.
• Coach, motivate, train, lead, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Present to referral relationships and manage meetings.
• Personally originate loans.
• Handle customer loan applications and collect asset/income information.
• Analyze customer finances to determine loan qualification.
• Act as mortgage loan advisor and discuss options.
• Monitor workflow to ensure timely closings.
• Define and manage customer expectations of the loan process.
• Stay updated on market conditions and product knowledge.
• Negotiate rates and terms.
• Build relationships with referral sources and respond to leads.
• Market, service and promote loan products.
