Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, National Association is seeking an Asset Preservation Coordinator II to monitor and coordinate property preservation activities for delinquent loans on site in Cincinnati, OH. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years of mortgage servicing experience.
• Ability to research and recognize problems.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• PC experience including Excel, Word and Access.

Responsibilities

• Review Property Preservation Queue daily for new tasks based on maintenance needed at vacant properties.
• Monitor property preservation tasks for first-time vacancy letters to customers and related insurance notifications.
• Coordinate with escrow to ensure force-placed insurance for cancelled policies and maintain tracking reports.
• Review and obtain approvals for over-allowable estimates from property preservation vendors.
• Review vendor invoices to confirm charges reflect completed work.
• Address code violations notes with property preservation vendors to protect collateral.
• Develop knowledge of investor/insurer guidelines for mortgage loan defaults.
• Collaborate with city/county/attorneys on code violations affecting properties.
• Refer damaged properties to hazard claim vendors for review of insurable damage.
• Follow up with hazard claim vendors and escrow for claim information and repair status.
• Engage with investors/insurers regarding distressed properties and claims as needed.
