Job summary

Nuvision Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Analyst and Trainer to support MLCs with administrative, reporting and training duties. You will act as the main communications facilitator between MLCs, internal teams and vendors, manage CRM/Encompass workflows, and identify efficiencies in mortgage processes.

The role requires 3 years of mortgage sales support experience, strong written communication, and proficiency with MS Office. NMLS registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience providing mortgage sales support to include experience supporting multiple loan officer(s) and working in a financial institution.
• Solid grammar and spelling.
• Business writing style.
• Filing systems.
• Good knowledge of financial institutions and strong understanding of mortgage lending products and procedures.
• Solid knowledge of mortgage guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Ability to generate reports and analyze, evaluate and interpret data to identify risks, issues and trends and provide sound recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to act professional when communicating with other staff, credit union members, and vendors by telephone or by written communication.
• Effectively builds relationships with team members, members and external partners to support business development efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work under limited supervision.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide full support resources including reports and event organization.
• Analyze department production and provide daily and monthly reports.
• Train and evaluate CRM processes, maintain data, assign leads.
• Train and onboard new MLCs and maintain department procedures.
• Assist in evaluating issues and derive solutions on loans in process.
• Coordinate monthly sales meetings and mortgage events; support improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Other related duties as assigned.
