First Residential Independent Mortgage is seeking a Loan Specialist to guide borrowers through the home loan journey, from initial eligibility to closing. Training is provided, and prior mortgage experience is a plus but not required.

You’ll work with a marketing team generating interested leads, primarily calling motivated borrowers. Expect a base salary with attractive commission, with earning potential ranging from the mid five figures to over six figures for top performers.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with borrowers, understanding their goals, and providing expert guidance to ensure they feel informed, confident, and ready to move forward.
• Running their credit through an online system and helping them find the right loan for their situation.
• Walking borrowers through the loan process, explaining everything clearly, and helping them get the right rates and terms.
• Handling all the paperwork and keeping the borrower’s file on track until the loan is officially closed.
• You’ll spend much of your day communicating with borrowers by phone, email, and other communication tools. Business calls may be recorded and reviewed using AI-assisted technology to support coaching, quality assurance, compliance, training, and performance evaluation.
• And on top of that, you’d be contributing to the team’s success by jumping in wherever you’re needed. Collaboration with internal and external parties is critical to this role.
