Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring an Account Associate to support external mortgage clients and internal partners in a hybrid Minneapolis role. You will assist a Relationship Manager, handle client communications, and manage account setup and reporting using Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in financial services or professional customer service, with Associate or Bachelor's degree and experience with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service experience
• AND/OR
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree completed
• 6+ months of experience working within Microsoft Office INCLUDING Excel (vlookups/pivot tables)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for external mortgage clients and internal business partners.
• Support a Relationship Manager and manage assigned client relationships.
• Communicate daily with clients via phone and email; explain reports and resolve inquiries.
• Handle account setup, maintenance, and oversight per policies and regulations.
• Generate and review reports in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) to summarize file status for clients.
• Ensure mortgage and collateral files meet client criteria before storage.
• Research and assist Relationship Manager with day-to-day client issues.
• Create certifications, trust receipts, and handle sensitive correspondence.
• Work with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
• Assist with larger projects managed by others.
