Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of areas within client sites. The role requires flexibility to handle varied duties per client specifications and adherence to cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Prior cleaning/janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and assist in waste disposal; use compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and routines.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers).
• Perform other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
