Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a casual Food Service Assistant to prepare and deliver patient and guest trays.

Schedule: 7am to 11:30am as needed, 2-4 days a week including weekends. Responsibilities include maintaining production area, ensuring accurate orders, and providing friendly service.

Casual employees work on an ‘as needed’ basis to meet the needs of the business. Workdays/hours will vary week to week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months food service experience preferred.
• Food Handler's Certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the assembly area for room service tray production and maintains cleanliness.
• Ensures adequate food and supply levels for service.
• Delivers patient trays to rooms following Room Service guidelines.
• Assists with production and preparation of food items to meet orders.
• Provides friendly, professional service to patients and staff.
