Job summary

Compass Group USA, Eurest division, is hiring a full-time Prep Cook for the Glenview, IL location. The role requires five years of prep cooking, food safety/sanitation, and customer service experience, plus a valid ServSafe certificate. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (and 6:00 AM–1:00 PM Fridays, with some flexibility).

Pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour. Responsibilities include following production schedules, recipe adherence, HACCP compliance, and customer service at multiple

Qualifications

• Five years of prep cooking, food safety/sanitation, customer service, and back-of-house experience required.
• Must have a valid ServSafe certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
