Job summary

Eurest is hiring a full-time Prep Cook in Glenview, IL. Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with Friday 6:00 AM–1:00 PM (flex). Five years of prep cooking, food safety/sanitation, and back-of-house experience required; ServSafe certification is mandatory.

Salary: $21.00–$24.00 per hour. Perks include no weekends and an internal referral bonus. Responsible for preparing items per production schedule, following recipes and portion controls, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring HACCP

Qualifications

• Five years of prep cooking, food safety/sanitation, customer service, and back-of-house experience required.
• Must have a valid ServSafe certificate.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation, reports and logs as needed.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously; handles multiple stations.
• Uses recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portions.
• Resolves customer concerns and performs other duties as assigned.
