Eurest USA in Vergennes, VT is hiring a full-time Cook to prepare food items to standard recipes and ensure quality, safety, and timely service. The position requires prep cook and sandwich making experience, with a fixed pay rate of $21.50 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and supports in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings and collaborates with coworkers and managers.
