Job summary

88 Tactical is seeking a dependable Prep Cook / Line Cook to join the Founders Club culinary team. This position supports daily food preparation and works assigned stations during service to help maintain efficient Back of House operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and takes pride in consistent food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in prep or line cooking preferred but not required.
• Availability for 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow recipes and established kitchen procedures.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proteins, vegetables, sauces, dressings and garnishes per recipes.
• Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently.
• Set up and stock assigned stations before service.
• Cook items per tickets, recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage multiple orders with accuracy and timing.
• Ensure kitchen is prepared for lunch, dinner, events.
• Maintain portioning, temperatures and plate presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and allergen rules.
• Label, date, store and rotate inventory using FIFO.
• Monitor inventory and flag low-stock items to leadership.
• Restock and keep workstation clean throughout shift.
• Cool, store and secure food/equipment after shift.
• Support banquet, catering, and special-event prep/service.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership and FOH staff.
• Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Complete opening, closing and side-work duties.
