Prime Quarter Steak House in Princeton, NJ is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to assist with ingredient prep, production, and maintaining a clean workstation. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, food safety, and inventory support. Morning shift from 10:00am to 2:00pm (or until tasks are completed), with weekday and weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year prep cook experience preferred; training available.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables and preparing items for the evening shift.
• Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items.
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food.
• Assist with inventory management and organization of incoming deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.
