Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 915 W Market street Lima, OH. This role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen handling, and data entry across multiple sites in the Lima area.

You will contribute to accurate testing, perform billing-related tasks, and travel to additional sites as needed while delivering exceptional patient service. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent, or a phlebotomy certification
• Completed phlebotomy training program or 3+ months experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
