Job summary

Labcorp in Dyer, IN seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:30am–11:00am. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, ensure accurate data entry, and support billing processes. Travel to other sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience required.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the data system.
