Job summary

DoubleTree Dallas Near the Galleria in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time server to provide food and beverage service with a focus on guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, take and input orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure all safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, upselling desserts and specialty coffees, and helping other staff when needed. A Food Handler certification and TABC eligibility within 30 days may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Food handler certification and TABC may be required within 30 days.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to communicate in English and understand inquiries.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and explain specials/promotions.
• Check station for setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Record guest orders, repeat for accuracy, and input into POS.
• Retrieve and deliver orders with appropriate condiments.
• Ensure safe service and compliance with liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Suggest desserts or specialty coffees when appropriate.
• Assist other restaurant staff as needed.
