Job summary

Bloom is hiring for a morning operations role that keeps the bakery running smoothly. You will coordinate product flow between two Monroe Street locations, prep online and in-store preorders with care, and ensure products are stocked and organized as the morning unfolds.

You’ll communicate with production and front-of-house teams to anticipate needs and solve small problems before they arise, helping deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be energized by early mornings and able to handle a fast-paced bakery environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move bakery trays/boxes.
• Must be reliable, independent, and communicate clearly.

As we begin an exciting new chapter, we’re creating a brand-new role on our team, one that will play an essential part in helping our bakery grow while maintaining the quality, care, and hospitality we’re known for.

This isn’t simply a delivery position. This role is the heartbeat of our morning. You’ll help create the daily flow between our production team, our front-of-house team, and our customers, making sure every loaf, pastry, cake, and preorder arrives exactly where it needs to be. Your work allows the rest of the team to do theirs beautifully.

A Morning in the Life

Your day begins at our new production space at 1923 Monroe Street, where you’ll help organize the morning’s fresh production before making your way one block down the street to our original bakery at 1851 Monroe Street.

Along the way, you’ll help keep Bloom moving by:

• Coordinating the daily flow of fresh bakery products between our two Monroe Street locations. Receiving and organizing daily production.
• Preparing online and in-store preorders with care and accuracy.
• Keeping products beautifully stocked and organized throughout the morning.
• Communicating with both our baking and front-of-house teams to keep everyone informed. Solving little problems before they become big ones.
• Helping create a seamless experience for our customers behind the scenes.

Schedule

Tuesday-Sunday (candidate must be able to work one weekend day, and potentially two during big holidays) 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (this position could be full time or part time depending on the candidate/s)
