Hotel Equities in Honolulu, HI seeks a Cook (A.M.) for the Bamboo Bar at the White Sands Hotel to support breakfast service and banquets. You will prepare items to standard recipes and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

The role requires strong sanitation practices, ability to work with hotel brand standards, and effective coordination with culinary and guest services teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items per recipes and brand standards to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
• Inspect and select only high-quality food items for preparation.
• Monitor storage and portion control to maintain product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of refrigeration, equipment and work areas to meet health regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles).
• Report maintenance issues promptly and communicate with kitchen management.
• Receive and store food deliveries properly.
• Collaborate with other departments to support F&B operations.
• Participate in inventories and hotel programs to improve operations.
