Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Utah is seeking a part-time Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, maintain dignity, and provide friendly, responsive care in a warm, hospitality-driven environment.

You will follow care plans, support mealtimes, help with bathing, dressing, mobility, and safety, while adhering to policies and procedures. We offer education support and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but on the job training is available.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results.
• Must meet state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene.
• Provide meal assistance and serve meals.
• Transport residents and assist with transfers.
• Perform regular safety checks.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Document information and report changes to a supervisor.
• Respond to resident alerts.
• Ensure safety during drills.
