Fair Oaks Estates is hiring a full-time morning Caregiver in Carmichael, CA. You will be the first friendly face for residents, helping with mornings, showers, dressing, breakfast, and mobility support. Med Techs handle medications; your focus is direct resident care and morning routines.

The six-week rotation means four days on, two off, with weekends and holidays possible. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Fingerprint clearance through Community Care Licensing, completed before your first day.
• Health screening and TB test from a licensed physician, completed before your first day.
• Valid First Aid card renewed every two years.
• Scrubs on the floor with low‑heeled, closed‑toe, slip‑resistant shoes.
• Able to assist another caregiver in transferring residents weighing 100–250 pounds daily; stay on your feet through a full shift.
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing and toileting assistance.
• Reliable transportation to Carmichael for a 6:00 AM start.
• Available to work a morning shift on a four-days-on, two-days-off rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Wake and greet residents gently, at their own pace.
• Assist with morning personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, denture care, and incontinence care.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Provide safe transfers and walking support.
• Assist with breakfast service and feeding as needed.
• Support memory care residents through morning routines with patience and redirection.
• Report changes in residents’ condition promptly to the Med Tech or Care Managers.
• Help residents get to appointments, therapy, and activities.
• Assist the activity director and lead morning activities.
• Manage linens, laundry, and sanitation; document in Eldermark.
