Job summary

SYNERGY Home Care of Cape Fear is seeking compassionate individuals to join as live-in caregivers. You will provide non-medical support, companionship, and practical assistance in clients’ homes, helping them enjoy fuller lives on their terms.

We value reliability, punctuality, and a caring heart. No prior experience is required; training is provided, and you will be supported with ongoing orientation and employee recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Ages 18+ is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have reliable transportation (valid driver's license and auto insurance will be requested)

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to the client’s non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
• Other duties as assigned
