Job summary

The Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge is seeking a part-time server to join our historic dining room. You will warmly welcome guests, highlight our breakfast and lunch offerings, and ensure a high-quality, relaxed dining experience with attention to guest preferences and dietary needs.

Responsibilities include accurate order handling, coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and supporting side tasks such as silverware and display upkeep. Weekend availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• Customer-service oriented with a warm, inviting demeanor.
• Ability to work quickly in a high-volume dining room.
• Excellent verbal communication with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Available Sundays and Mondays (banquet shifts may be available).

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, personalized welcome to every guest, setting a peaceful and inviting tone for their breakfast or lunch experience.
• Highlight the breakfast and lunch menu, explain specialties, and suggest perfect pairings.
• Manage opening/closing duties to prepare the dining room and patio for the next day’s guests.
• Record guest choices accurately and coordinate with the kitchen to keep service moving smoothly.
• Maintain dining areas pristine and restock donut display to attract guests.
