Job summary

You will handle payments at the POS, maintain clean dining areas, and comply with liquor laws. The role supports opening and closing duties and may be full- or part-time. English fluency is required and prior food-service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel/related field experience is a plus.
• English fluency required.
• Liquor, wine and food service certification a plus.
• Ability to input and access information in computers.
• Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Full- and part-time positions available.
• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Possess basic reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile.
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant.
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with laws.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas.
• Quickly and accurately take guest orders.
• Accommodate special requests and offer alternatives.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and address problems.
• Accurately prepare meal checks and process payments via POS.
• Clear, clean and reset tables; open and close procedures.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
