Job summary

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North seeks a part-time Breakfast Attendant to serve the breakfast buffet and support daily operations. Shifts start between 5–6 AM and run to about 12:30 PM with potential additional hours based on demand.

Hourly compensation starts at $20.00 with benefits including competitive pay, consistent schedule, free parking, and a 401k plan with company match. Previous foodservice experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a foodservice environment preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provides food and beverage service to guests in the breakfast room.
• Sets up breakfast at scheduled time.
• Prepares food and beverage to brand standard breakfast program guidelines.
• Ensure breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area and kitchen during and after breakfast hours.
• Inventory breakfast items regularly and help unload weekly food order.
• Clears tables during breakfast using proper methods.
• Cleans tables, chairs and floor area.
• Assists service team to meet and exceed guests’ expectations.
• Adheres to hotel and brand safety procedures and health standards.
• Strives for 100% guest satisfaction with genuine hospitality.
• Guides employees to deliver Yes I Can! service.
• Communicates customer service vision to staff.
• Fosters an environment of teamwork and service brand behavior.
• Ensures 100% Guest Satisfaction by collecting feedback and acting on trends.
• Provides tools and training for excellent service.
• Performs other duties to maintain guest satisfaction.
