Sonnet Montessori is seeking an Educator's Aide to support Lead Educators in delivering play-based, age-appropriate activities that foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.

You will help maintain a welcoming, safe environment, supervise children, and assist with observing milestones under supervision. Responsibilities include basic classroom upkeep, behavior support, and communicating daily activities to families.

Competenze

• Must meet the DHS Educator’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Experience with young children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and meet licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

• Assist Lead Educator in implementing play-based, age-appropriate lessons.
• Maintain a positive classroom culture focused on belonging, safety and curiosity.
• Provide active supervision of students in classroom and outdoor activities.
• Observe and record developmental milestones under guidance of Lead Educator.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of the classroom.
• Support positive behavior guidance strategies.
• Greet families and support daily interactions during drop-off/pick-up.
• Provide updates on students’ activities via the center’s communication platform.
