Job summary

Ohana Child Development Center at Bandwidth's Raleigh, NC headquarters seeks qualified guides for ages 3 to 6, dedicated to Montessori/RIE-based programming, respectful and cognitively stimulating learning. Bandwidth colleagues collaborate to support families and children.

You will partner with Bandwidth families, maintain safe classrooms, document observations, and provide developmental reports. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and 3 years in early childhood education is desired; opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years working in early childhood education.
• Montessori/RIE caregiving techniques and Positive Discipline.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage the classroom using Montessori principles with a lead guide.
• Provide physical care of children and ensure daily safety.
• Follow licensing standards and classroom procedures at all times.
• Maintain visual supervision and safety of all children.
• Observe and document progress for each child.
• Prepare and maintain the learning environment based on needs.
• Keep classroom clean, safe, and organized.
• Build relationships with families and co-teachers with cultural respect.
• Meet with co-teachers to discuss observations and curriculum planning.
• Provide developmental reports to parents and conduct conferences three times per year.
• Communicate important information to co-teachers; participate in meetings.
