Job summary

The City Garden Montessori School seeks a Lead Guide to deliver an instructional program grounded in Montessori methods and anti-bias pedagogy. You will work with the principal, assistant guide, staff, and families to support the holistic development of every child.

Responsibilities include planning interdisciplinary units, coordinating with specialists, assessing progress using MAP/NWEA and portfolios, maintaining a safe, engaging classroom, and communicating with parents through conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Montessori Certification or equivalent.
• DESE teaching certification preferred.
• Experience in a Montessori setting with anti-bias education.

Responsibilities

• Plan interdisciplinary units using Montessori methods aligned with state standards.
• Coordinate curriculum with specialty teachers and staff.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learners and assess progress.
• Create weekly learning plans and communicate with families.
• Ensure safety and maintain organized classroom environment.
