Job summary

California Montessori Project is seeking a Substitute for its Elk Grove campuses (Bradshaw and Elk Grove Boulevard sites). The substitute reports to the Human Resources & Payroll Department and works under the Campus Principal guidance, serving 188 instructional days per year.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, maintaining a safe, inclusive environment, and supporting in lesson preparation and student support.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, 48 college educational units, or ability to pass a paraprofessional exam.
• Emergency 30 Day Substitute Permit from the CTC if substituting as lead teacher.

• Monitor classroom safety and daily operations.
• Assist in preparing materials and activities.
