Job summary

Cadence Education in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to join our caring team. This full-time role involves supporting Montessori classrooms for infants to Kindergarten, under the guidance of trained teachers, and contributing to our mission of fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Ideal candidates will hold a CDA or an Associate’s Degree (or some college coursework) and be at least 18 years old; a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in Montessori classrooms under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children.
• Engage in positive redirection and foster a love of learning.
• Communicate with parents about routine health and care matters.
