Cadence Education is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher in Roseville, MN to join a supportive team dedicated to developing a lifelong love of learning in children from birth to age 6. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with Montessori teachers and delivering a high-quality, developmentally appropriate program.

No experience is required to start, with opportunities to pursue Montessori Teacher Certification and access to a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
