Job summary

Cadence Education in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to bring your love of children and experience in childcare to our team of caring teachers. This full-time role supports Montessori classrooms for infants through Kindergarten aged students.

Minimum requirements include a CDA or Associate’s Degree (or some college coursework); a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
