Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides for our Deerfield school to support mixed-age classrooms for children 0–6. You’ll help create calm, engaging spaces where children explore and grow, guided by experienced Lead Guides.

You’ll collaborate with families and team members, nurture individual development, and participate in ongoing professional growth and Montessori training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school or childcare settings.
• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in Montessori education and growth.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community
