Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide at our Deerfield school. As an Assistant Guide, you’ll support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant to 6 years) and help create a calm, engaging environment where children explore and grow at their own pace.

You’ll observe individual needs, prepare learning spaces, support small-group activities, and build warm relationships with children and families, collaborating with Lead Guides to foster a strong classroom community.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 3-6 in school or childcare setting.
• Positive, adaptable, collaborative mindset.
• Interest in learning and growing within Montessori approach.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
