Job summary

Central Coast VNA & Hospice seeks a Home Health Clinical Educator to develop and implement comprehensive orientation and ongoing training for clinical, clerical, and management staff. This role ensures regulatory compliance and supports quality improvement across Home Health.

The educator collaborates with leadership to identify training needs, support new hires, and promote best practices in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California.
• Minimum 2 years of Home Health experience.
• Experience with staff education and adult learning principles.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, training, and professional development programs for clinical, clerical, and management staff in Home Health.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and support new hires.
• Ensure staff competency and regulatory compliance and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate training programs for oasis, HIS interpretive guidelines, HHVBP, and Case Management expectations.
• Lead staff education initiatives and work with the Director of Compliance to identify development needs.
