Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Monomer + Melts Chemist to join the team at Parkersburg, WV. You will provide analytical and quality support, calibrate and maintain instrumentation, and develop analytical methods to ensure product quality and process control.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry required.
Experience with analytical methods development and QC activities preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical and quality support to meet business objectives and product quality expectations.
Calibrate, verify, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation used for testing and release.
Develop, implement and improve analytical methods, testing procedures and process controls.
Drive continuous improvement for measurement systems, lab automation and data integrity.
Support lab operations including LIMS, SAP, purchasing and inventory management.
Troubleshoot methods, instrumentation and techniques to resolve product and process issues.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology and Quality teams to improve product consistency.
Conduct root cause investigations and quality assessments using analytical techniques.
