Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Fulcrum Technology Solutions is seeking a Monitoring Engineer for an immediate engagement extending through the end of the year. This role involves deploying and configuring a suite of monitoring tools for prioritized applications, including SaaS and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications, in preparation for a significant system release scheduled for January 2026. The position requires a U.S. citizen and offers a virtual work schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and optimize Dynatrace SaaS for comprehensive application performance monitoring.
• Utilize Python scripting to integrate monitoring solutions and ensure effective tracing aligned with technical performance measures.
• Implement and manage additional observability tools, such as DXNetOps, Splunk, and ExtraHop, to enhance monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to assess and prioritize applications for monitoring tool deployment.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to monitoring configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on monitoring tools and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring tools and scripts.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Proven experience with Dynatrace SaaS, including instrumentation, configuration, and migration from managed environments.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as DXNetOps, Splunk, and ExtraHop.
• Understanding of AWS Lambda and its integration within monitoring frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a virtual environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A humble and collaborative demeanor, with a focus on technical expertise and credibility.

Preferred Qualifications
