Role

Backfill role, more focused on application monitoring than network monitoring. Experience with both is preferred.

Tools

Use of APM tool, specifically CA APM/Broadcom APM (now called DX APM).

Requirements

1. Experience developing application alerts, dashboards using Dynatrace, CA APM/Broadcom APM.
2. Scripting experience with Groovy, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and other programming languages.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
4. Quick learning, self-motivated and independent.
5. Experience with visualization, and diagramming of applications.

Desired Skills

1. Performance analysis, operation support and tuning experience for monitoring applications.
2. Windows or Linux administration.
3. Experience with monitoring needs for on-prem/cloud network infrastructure.
4. Experience with automation, visualization, and diagramming applications.
5. Experience in integration of applications and application data.
6. Good understanding of management process frameworks, such as ITIL.
7. Familiarity with monitoring tools like LogicMonitor Network Performance and Network Configuration Manager, NetFlow and Spectrum.
8. Experience monitoring in Azure environment.
9. SNMPv3, v2c configuration and trap expertise.
10. Knowledge of TCP and other network protocols (BGP routing and other routing protocols).
