• AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year.

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms on the telemetry monitor and for identifying and reporting arrhythmias/dysrhythmias.

• Communicates courteously and promptly with internal and external customers, in person or by phone.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in managing patient flow, communicating system or telemetry issues to bed placement and nursing supervisors/CV Coordinators.
• Considers safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact when ordering supplies and staffing adjustments.
• Performs supportive unit tasks such as EKGs and lead placement.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
