Position Details

This position requires successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or 1 year of previous cardiac monitoring experience. The Monitor Technician, 12 hours, reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• The central telemetry monitor technician is responsible for continuously monitoring the cardiac monitors of patients, identifying abnormal and normal rhythms, promptly reporting cardiac rhythm and rate changes, and maintaining accurate records. Must possess effective communication skills and basic computer skills.

Schedule

This position is full-time, 72 hours per pay period, night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with alternating weekends and holidays.
