Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Illinois is seeking a Telemetry Technician for full-time night shifts. You will attach leads, prepare patients, obtain ECG readings, and monitor multiple screens as part of a care team delivering world-class cardiovascular care.

• CPR – Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Attaches electrode lead lines to proper body areas based on type of test ordered.
• Prepares skin and surroundings to ensure valid results.
• Obtains and documents ECG readings as directed.
• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes.
• Identifies and corrects artifacts.
• Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
• Maintains ECG equipment and supplies.

The salary range for this position is $18.33 - $25.66 (Hourly Rate)

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Telemetry Technician Full-Time Nights
