Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Monitor Tech for the Central Monitoring Unit. This part-time role (12 hours weekly) covers night shifts from 7pm to 7am in New Albany, IN. The Monitor Tech assists nurses by continuously observing cardiac monitors and documenting strip findings for timely reporting.

Job Duties:

The Monitor Tech assists nurses in the administration of patient care by providing continuous observation of the cardiac monitors. Included in this role will be the recognition and strip documentation of cardiac arrhythmias with prompt reporting to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of hospital dysrhythmia course upon hire.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
