Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Monitor Tech for the Central Monitoring Unit. This part-time role covers 12 hours weekly, nights from 7pm to 7am, at our Floyd campus located about 10 minutes from downtown Louisville (1850 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150). The Monitor Tech will observe cardiac monitors and document arrhythmias, assisting nurses as needed.

Qualifications include a hospital dysrhythmia course upon hire and a preferred high school diploma or equivalent. EOE.

Job Duties

The Monitor Tech assists nurses in the administration of patient care by providing continuous observation of the cardiac monitors. Included in this role will be the recognition and strip documentation of cardiac arrhythmias with prompt reporting to the appropriate nurse and telemetry equipment manager.
