Job summary

Chatthillscharter is seeking a full-time school custodian to perform custodial maintenance and cleaning across the building, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff. The role requires cleaning of fixtures, floors, windows, and restrooms, plus preparation for events and minor repairs as needed.

You will operate floor cleaning equipment, move furniture, and help maintain exterior grounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning methods and proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to operate floor cleaning and carpet maintenance equipment.
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and grounds in acceptable condition.
• Clean light fixtures, windows, walls, furniture, bleachers, blinds and stadium.
• Operate equipment for scrubbing, buffing and waxing floors.
• Disinfect and restock assigned restrooms.
• Prepare for and clean up after events.
• Move furniture and equipment as directed.
• Maintain grounds appearance; manage parking areas.
• Respond to staff requests in a timely manner.
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
