Job summary

Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants (IIMC) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our Greenwood, Indiana team. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule in a physician practice setting and supports patient care with timely, accurate lab results.

The role requires attention to detail and dependable performance, with compensation based on experience ranges.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology are required.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in performing lab tests.
• Ability to work in a outpatient clinical setting with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic lab testing across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and serology.
• Recognize and report critical results to ordering physicians.
• Maintain complete records of tests and quality control procedures.
• Assist in training staff and students.
• Participate in proficiency testing and external surveys.
• Assist phlebotomy and reception duties.
• Provide excellent patient service with a welcoming, respectful experience.
