Indiana University Health is seeking qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our Fort Wayne team. The role supports diverse testing and patient care in a fast-paced lab with day, evening, and night shifts available.

Openings at Fort Wayne Hospital include 6 am–3:30 pm, 2:30 pm–11 pm, and 9 pm–7:30 am shifts with occasional travel to IU Ball and Jay locations for training. Certification within 12 months is required for MLS/MLT tracks.

Qualifications

• MLS requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• MLT requires an Associate or Bachelor degree in a related science with certification within 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens and provide data for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of disease.
• Maintain laboratory records and ensure quality control per procedures and regulations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and assist with updates to SOPs as directed.
