Job summary

Daviess Community Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Technician to handle the processing of specimens and reporting of results across all areas of the clinical laboratory. You will maintain records and follow established laboratory policies and quality control practices.

The role includes assisting with venipunctures as needed, with a shift from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday, and every third weekend. Requires AS/BS in medical tech or related field and Indiana license.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate of Science or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.
• National certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist or board eligible.
• Must hold a valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance according to hospital policy.
