Job summary

Harborview-Health-System in Tarboro, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3-11 shift in a Charge role. The position offers top pay and benefits in a faith-based, caregiver-focused environment.

You will supervise CNAs, collaborate with the IDT to assess and plan care, ensure timely assessments, facilitate physician rounds, and maintain comprehensive documentation while delivering high-quality nursing care within policy and standards.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
