Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3-11 shift as Charge. The role involves supervising CNAs, collaborating with the IDT to assess and update care plans, and ensuring timely baseline and ongoing assessments.

You will also facilitate physician rounds, coordinate referrals, and handle nursing documentation and reports within facility policy and standards. Active NC nursing license required with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in good standing in the state of practice (North Carolina).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
