Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, listen, analyze, and interpret general business paperwork.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT.
• Residence within 50 miles (80 km) of Allenton facility required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer molten aluminum from breakdown furnace to holding furnace to maintain production.
• Separate and segregate alloys to prevent mixing in furnace.
• Charge breakdown furnaces by adding ingot and scrap aluminum.
• Move containers to and from die-cast machines as directed.
• Operate spectrometer.
• Clean and maintain melting and holding furnaces.
• Assist in managing and directing furnace department operations.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
