Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Niagara Falls, NY seeks a Production Associate to operate a brazing furnace and braze metal components for heat transfer units. This 2nd shift position (3pm-11pm) offers hourly pay with a $2/hr differential.

You will read blueprints, inspect units, record logs, and ensure accurate safety practices. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders.
• Strong math and measurement skills with attention to tolerances.
• Mechanical aptitude with careful, detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate a brazing oven to join components in heat transfer units.
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine specs.
• Inspect, measure, and adjust units before braze process.
• Complete oven logs and verify program/thermocouples accuracy.
• Safer, organized work area; maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in training coworkers and share best practices.
